Is the proxy checker free?
Yes. You can check up to 100 proxies per run without creating an account.
Which proxy types are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, with or without username and password. Choose a protocol in the dropdown, or leave it on All to test every proxy as both HTTP and SOCKS5. A proxy written with a prefix such as socks5:// is only tested with that protocol.
Do you store the proxies I check?
No. Proxies and credentials are only used for the check and are never saved or logged.
Why does a proxy show as timed out?
It didn't respond within 10 seconds. It may be offline, overloaded, or blocking connections from our checking server.
Can I check rotating residential proxies?
Yes. Each check shows the exit IP for that request, so a rotating gateway will show a different IP each time you run it.
